There really is no easy way around this. The massive crowds, cobblestone, grass and general terrain just don’t allow for the best wheelchair access. We will be happy to make accommodations and help where we can, though. Just allow us a few moments and we’ll figure out how to accommodate anyone with a special need.
Yes, EMS will be onsite to help provide immediate assistance.
Yes, the North Carolina Wine Festival began in Winston-Salem 16 years ago and since then they have supported numerous charities and local agencies including the Boy Scouts, the Alzheimer’s Association, and the Jaycees.
This will be the second year the event will offer a second location in the state’s capitol of Raleigh, N.C. This festival will give back to our local Raleigh Jaycees and the Foundation of Hope which provides research and treatment of mental illnesses.
This festival also promotes the agricultural and grape-growing efforts of the North Carolina vineyards across our great state by promoting their grape varieties and offering North Carolina vineyards the opportunity to sell their wines by the bottle and by the case to festival attendees.
This is considered a responsible adult event so bringing children is highly discouraged as there is nothing for them to do.
